- Primary role is business development. Worked to develop relationships with customers and create proof of concepts for additional offerings.

- Proposal development, initial design and implementation of several metro-area Wi-Fi/pre-Wi-Max wireless data networks for City of Houston, Google, City of Tucson, City of Miami Beach, City of Madison, City of Austin, City of Tyler, City of Los Angeles, City of London, City of Montgomery and City of Temecula.

- Worked with the United Nations in design of a metro-area wireless network for the Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to support security cameras.

- Design and managed the implementation of complex IP based security CCTV systems vendors include DvTel, Pelco, Axis and Panasonic.

- Designed and managed the implementation converged networks to support applications such as building automation, voice, video, access control and Internet access. Implementing Quality of Service and traffic prioritization on these networks to ensure application reliability.

- Manage a team for the implementation and network management of thousands of IP networking devices for building automation, security systems and Internet access. Including debugging of complex network problem and network capacity management.

- Network architect in the design and implementation of product in complex networks for Fortune 500 companies using BGP, OSPF and ISIS implementations.

- Initial staff member, developing the business plan for Venture Capital funding, developing the staffing plan and hiring the staff for the company.

2000-2005 Console, Inc.

- Implemented a complex load balancing system for a high traffic web site using VRRP, Gigabit Ethernet and Direct Server Return for high volume web site.

- Developed security policy.

- Developed the reference system for the server farm using Solaris and FreeBSD platforms.

- System and network tuning to increase performance and decreasing cost.

- Managed and successfully completed large scale Data Center moves, involving hundreds of Web, Database, and other Application Servers. Including Bravotv.com and NBC.COM.

1999-2000 AppTera, Inc.

- Managed and led the build out of a large scale production server clusters using various UNIX platforms, Oracle, Network Appliances, EMC, VERITAS, Jumpstart, Kickstart.

1996-1999 AT&T (TCG CERFnet)

- Managed, designed and administrated from conception to deployment of Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) services in 27 cities across the US for AT&T WorldNet. Working with a multimillion-dollar budget, the rollout of this product was completed in 18 months.

- Built the Intelligent Content Distribution system for AT&T using global server load balancing technology with advanced data replication software.

- As part of a design team, implemented and managed the IPsec Virtual Private Network services for AT&T WorldNet Business services. Primary products VPnet, Nortel Connectivity Switch, CISCO, Ascend and Rapid Stream.

- Designed and managed the build out of the first three AT&T Web Hosting Data Centers, including overseeing multi-million dollar budgets and business plan objectives.

- Functioned as technical sales person.

- Managed large web server farms using Auspex, SunOS, Solaris 2.x, EMC, Network Appliance, and Linux.

- Ran Mbone server using DVMRP, with migration to PIM.

- Ran large SMTP, POP3, IMAP, DNS and other networking infrastructure systems.

- Worked with CISCO routers from 1200 to the 12012, Ascend MAX, Ascend TNT, Ascend 4000, CISCO PIX Firewall, CheckPoint Firewall, Raptor, TIS Gauntlet, Foundry, Extreme, Bay Nortel, Nortel Alteon, Nortel VPN devices along with many other networking and operating systems.

- Wireless IP responsible, specifically "Project Angel" and 38GHz Point-to-Point deployments.

1995-1996 CONNECTnet Internet Network Services

- Co-founded an Internet Service Provider and developed the initial business plan and services offered, eventually selling this ISP to Allegiance Telecom (ALGX) for $15 million.

- Developed sales presentations, product names and packaging for a variety of ISP products along with pricing structure.

- Managed, deployed and administrated complex dial-up service offering using Ascend and 3com products.

- Setup and ran BGP in a dual-homed environment. Setup, configured and operated a news server, RADIUS, FTP, sendmail, rewriting sendmail.cf files, DNS, UUCP and INND.

1994-1995 Garrison Security

- Firewall installation and security design at large enterprises and government installations.

- Penetration testing and security audits of large networks developing reports to drive security policy for enterprise and government.

1992-1994 Acucobol

- Programmed in COBOL, AWK, YACC, C and Perl.

- Worked with, installed, administered, configured and managed a wide range of hardware and operation system platforms such as SunOS, Solaris 2.x, QNX, CLIX, DGUX, AOS/VS, VMS, RSTS, AIX, NEXT, SCO UNIX, System V, FreeBSD, Linux, OSF/1, HPUX and CISCO routers.
